Join or Renew ACNM Membership

You may register online after May 20, but you will be charged the on-site fee.
Daily registration rates can only be used for a maximum of two individual days, if you desire to attend more than two days, the full general registration fee will be charged.
* You will be required to provide your ACNM member number.
** A valid student ID must be presented at registration on site.

General registration includes access to:

  • all keynote and premier sessions;
  • all educational sessions excluding paid workshops;
  • access to all handouts and course materials;
  • print-on-demand certification;
  • the ACNM Trade Exposition;
  • poster presentations;
  • general conference meals and social functions including the Welcome Reception and Midwifery Celebration m and coffee breaks;
  • access to Annual Meeting educational sessions and CEU session credits on the ACNM Live Learning Center– following the conference.

General registration does not include admission to any of the paid workshops or other special ticketed events. You must register and pay the additional fees for those programs as noted below.

Name Badges

Name badges will be provided to all registered attendees and are required to enter all areas of the Annual Meeting. All attendees, including Exhibit Hall Only registrants, must stop at Registration to be issued a badge.

NO BADGES WILL BE MAILED in advance.

Attend ALL the sessions at the 56th Annual Meeting! Live and in person or post-meeting in the comfort of your home or office. After the Annual Meeting, take advantage of Annual Meeting educational sessions online at ACNM’s Live Learning Center. As a full conference registrant, you’ll have ongoing access to all educational sessions recorded at the Annual Meeting. Online education offerings include audio presentations, handouts and other relevant materials, and are available for additional continuing education credits with print-on-demand CE certification. 2011 Educational CD

The CD is not included as part of registration. If you would like to purchase a CD, the cost is $69. The CD will be mailed to the address you provided for registration four (4) weeks after the Annual Meeting has ended.

Cancellation and Refund

All cancellation notices must be submitted in writing. Registrants may expect to receive refunds four to six weeks after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. Substitutions are permitted; however, notification must be received in writing. Notification of substitution can be faxed to or mailed to the ACNM Annual Meeting address.

 

Please be sure to go to our website at http://www.midwife/.org/am for detailed information on the cancellation policies. All cancellations must be submitted in writing. A $50 cancellation fee will be assessed for all cancellations received on or before Friday, April 8. Between Saturday, April 9 and Friday, May 20, a fee of 50% of the registration fee will be assessed. After Friday, May 20, no cancellation refunds will be granted, except for extenuating circumstances (i.e., death, accident, illness) and must include appropriate verification.

Workshops

Workshop Cancellation

Workshops scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, and Saturday, May 28, require additional fees (unless otherwise indicated), pre-registration, and prepayment. Because ACNM makes financial obligations based on the number of tickets sold, we cannot refund tickets unless the event is cancelled. Workshops are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and tickets are required for admittance. You may sell or give your ticket to another individual. In the event of a workshop cancellation, ACNM will reassign you to another workshop of your choice at an equal value or issue a refund. All refunds will be processed no later than six weeks after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting.

For registrant cancellations, a cancellation fee of 25% of the workshop fee will be assessed for cancellations received on or before Friday, April 8. Between Saturday, April 9, and Friday, May 20, a fee of 50% of the workshop fee will be assessed. No refunds for workshop cancellations will be granted, for any reason, to registrants canceling after Friday, May 20.

Important Note: Please note that workshops may require a minimum number of participants, and may be canceled if the minimum is not met. Should a workshop be canceled, you will contacted and you may select a different workshop.

Receipts and Certificates of Attendance

All attendees who register online will receive a receipt/confirmation via e-mail, upon completion of the registration process and payment. Additionally, attendees will receive a paper receipt onsite, which will be attached to the attendee's badge. Any additional printed receipts or certificate of attendance will be available on-site at the Customer Service Desk, located at registration.

On-Site Registration Hours

Any registration received after May 20 will be considered an on-site registration. On-site registration will be located in Exhibit Hall A at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center.
