Midwives on a Mission: We Need You!
We need midwives more than ever to respond to our nation’s maternity care shortages. Now that midwives have achieved 100% reimbursement for Medicare services, it is time to champion the excellent work of midwives in promoting healthful outcomes for pregnancies and primary health care. We need to join our voices together to facilitate programs aimed at increasing the number of midwives so that more women can have access to midwifery care.
